• I’m an Icon

Yesterday, after much anticipation, I finally received the digital portrait I ordered from dv-graphics.com. They did a great job with the artwork, but I was hoping that it would come to me in color. I have nobody to blame but myself, however, because the photo I sent them was black and white… Why would they have done it in color when I never sent them a color photo? Oh the things that seem so clear in retrospect.

Anyhow, I would highly recommend DV-graphic’s artwork to anyone, although it is a little tricky to find a time when they are taking orders. It doesn’t seem like he makes icons full time, so you pretty much have to wait for him to get around to it.

I meant to say this quite some time ago… This makes me want to go get one of my own. I noticed that the icon they display on technorati is in color. Did you colorize it yourself?

Well, I wrote him back, asking if he could color it for me. Aparently, he did the original in color, but made it b/w because that is what he thought I wanted. Being the really cool guy that he is, he just sent me the color version at no cost.
