    Twisted Children’s Books

It always cracks me up when someone creates a funny publication cover with Photoshop. It reminds me of “Whipped Magazine” and the idea Roderick and I had for our U.P.I. (Useless Publications International) magazine “Hobo NOW!”.
In that vein, Something Awful has an entire series of Photoshoped up children’s book covers. “Buddy’s Big Surprise” was my [...]

    Officer Angry is Back

A long time ago I had a video up with my piranha, Officer Angry, eating some raw shrimp off a stick. Casey edited it up for me, and it turned out to be pretty entertaining. Anyhow, I just stumbled upon it and thought I would upload it to google video. Enjoy.

    Don’t Swear Into Helium

Everyone likes Richard Pyle, and we all wish we had is uber sweet CIS Lunar rebreather, but I have to say this video of him down below 100M swearing like a sailer in that Donald Duck voice that you get with a larynx full of helium is pretty darn funny!
The cool thing about rebreathers is [...]

    Essay on Calvin & Hobbes

I’ve been a huge Calvin and Hobbes fan since the comic strip began in 1985, so I was thrilled to find that they have finally bundled up every single strip that was ever published into one gigantic set of three canvas-bound books called “The Complete Calvin and Hobbes”. This weekend I picked it up, and [...]

    I Like Full Metal Panic

To make a long story short, I love Full Metal Panic. I have watched both the Japanese TV series, and Fumoffu, and I’m left wanting more.
Lately I have become tired of “regular” movies and TV shows. Perhaps this is because they have become less interesting, or simply because I just want to see something [...]

    Funny Koi Quote

My fish do not like helicopters.
Found on the Koiphen forums… In context it’s pretty reasonable, but out of context it’s pretty darn funny!
It was a reply to a post about someone’s koi being scared by the noise of the snowplow. I check the Koiphen forums sometimes, but I’m really more of a Koivet kinda guy.

    Santa Drunk Driving

This is a little “Cops” knockoff With a drunk driving Santa. The cops decide to pull him over because of his wreckless driving and find find the trunk of his sleigh filled “snow from the north pole”. Humm… Sketchy!
The video is really pretty funny, but I have to wonder what this year’s “Village Idiot Award” [...]

    Libby Takes The Fall

Is I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby the new Fall Guy? Given last Friday’s indictment, he seems to be taking the fall for the corrupt Bush administration, but will it work? Rove and Cheney are still under investigation, and if you ask me, Bush and his cronies have a lot of explaining to do about why they [...]

    Open Source Radio

last week I listened to “Open Source” on NPR for the first time and I must say, I tuned in with a great deal of anticipation and excitement! “Open Source” is a radio show that uses blogs and internet sources as fodder, bringing the fast-paced independent reporting of the blogosphere to more traditional media outlets. Rainy Day Stupid Museum Tours

Back in September, Casey, Will and I were getting pretty tired of all the rainy days this summer, so we decided to entertain ourselves by touring the strangest museums Massachusetts has to offer. Our first stop was the Plastics Museum in Leominster, where we learned all about the history of plastic, and explored the how [...]
